Our History

In 2000, a group of 10 global financial institutions joined together with a common goal of optimizing efficiency in the securities finance industry by developing a standardized and centralized global platform for trading and post-trade services. EquiLend Holdings LLC was formed in 2001, and the platform went live in 2002. Over the past two decades, we have expanded our technology solutions extensively. More than 140 firms globally now leverage EquiLend’s suite of services.
